Little Mattie did not endear himself to anyone when he decided he needed to be awake between midnight and 2 AM last night. Every time we thought he was dropping off, he'd wake up again -- ugh! We even gave in to his unreasonable demands for milk, and even that didn't work. (It turns out that telling him he was being a very bad boy and he just needed to be quiet and go to sleep didn't work either.) Eventually nature took its course, and we're hoping for a better night tonight!It was only small comfort when Nora and Adrian said they'd never seen a kid who woke up so easily and had such a hard time getting back to sleep. :)
He was his usual cute self today, so he made it back into our good graces.
