Pumpkins!

 We had a great afternoon at Kelkenberg Farm.  Gorgeous weather, and of course the boys were excited to pick out their pumpkins!  (The pumpkins are now on the front porch arranged as a "tiger family."  The boys keep going out to check on them.)

Downtown Evening

 For the most part, we had gorgeous weather for Ted's visit, but a cool/rainy front came in on Saturday.  That didn't stop the grownups from enjoying a delicious dinner downtown (at Oshun restaurant).  

Pierce Arrow

 One of the cool things about Buffalo is that there are so many things to do.  Ted's trip inspired a new stop, at the Pierce Arrow Museum.  The boys were not interested, but Ted and Mike liked it, especially the Frank Lloyd Wright designed gas station (which was never actually built besides in this museum).

Ted-alo

 Our friend Ted came to visit for a few days last week.  He and Mike visited Lockport and Niagara Falls, but their primary activity was visiting guitar stores and playing music.  :)  (Amazingly, Mike has not yet ended up with any new guitars, though he did make some equipment purchases and did some more basement fixing-up in preparation for Ted's visit.)

The paddleboats were closed for the season, but the boys enjoyed Canalside nonetheless.
