Mattie has been playing more imaginative games recently -- he wanted his Elmo doll to play with the shape sorter and then he played music so that Elmo could dance. And he informed me that his baby doll wanted to go pee-pee on the potty. (Of course, as shown in the first picture, his first love is still "da vacuum cleaner! the big real vacuum!")He also likes to hear the Three Little Pigs story at bedtime ("more piggies! more piggies!").
But his favorite story to tell right now is this one, in his words: "Brother poo-pood in da bath! The daddy clean up da brother poop. Mommy say oh no!" We have explained that it was an accident, so in some retellings he says "was accident", although accident is a hard word for him. (Someday, poor brother will not be amused that I posted this on the blog. Also, I'm quite relieved that Mommy only said "oh no" rather than something stronger!)
