Two scenes from today:Matthew was riding the "new" tractor (a Christmas present from G & G Barr that Mike brought home from his recent trip -- thanks again, G & G!). He hopped off and said, "Done. Brother turn [brother's turn]." What nice sharing! They also took turns pushing each other on the tractor.
And then when they were going to bed, we were giving goodnight kisses, and James said, "Brother kiss" and gave Mattie a goodnight kiss. So sweet!
These days, when he gets something good, Mattie often wants to make sure that his brother is getting it, too. For instance, when he gets to give the dog a treat, he says, "Brother treat!" or when he gets a piece of ice (one of their favorite things), he says, "Brother ice!" (The exception is that if there's a fun new toy, Matthew will sometimes grab it away from brother!)
