P.S. James's hearing therapist is delighted with his progress -- according to her evaluation, he's doing almost everything you would expect for his age, which is fantastic for someone who didn't get hearing aids until he was one! (Recent words include walk, touch, bounce, rain, and a properly-used "two" -- for two boxes and two dogs!)
