New Haircuts

The boys got haircuts today.  (We went to the cheaper place instead of the old-fashioned barbershop this time -- poor Mattie missed out on the vacuum, but they did let him hold the broom and James hold the dustpan for a minute.)  The cuts turned out fine, but the boys were not happy with having to have it done!

James also mastered a new climbing section on the playground -- which is great in some ways but also a bit unfortunate, because it's both high and has a big gap between the climbing spot and the platform, so once he's at the top he can't really get onto the platform by himself, unlike the other ladder.  (You can see in the middle picture that he's above Mike's hands.)
