Six, Eight

Apparently James does not believe in the number seven -- when he counts to ten, he skips seven. And when he's pointing out numbers, he calls sevens "one." We have tried to explain to him that the top part of a seven is longer than the top part of a one, but he just points to it and says, "One" again. :)

The GI doctor called to let us know that James's prealbumin -- the one thing that had been at a low level in the previous blood tests -- was now fine.  Yay!  No other results were back yet.  But they're going to do a kidney ultrasound to rule out any problems there.  (That one is our fault for mentioning that he was supposed to have a follow-up one done that we'd never followed through with.)  So, we have to go for that next week -- ah, back to radiology, my least favorite specialty.
