Unpredictable

It's been a rough day. James is fighting for his life. Earlier today his blood chemistry was all out of whack, and they gave him a number of different drugs and put him on a new type of ventilator to get things back in line. As of right now, he seems to be stable and doing better, but it's a waiting game to see what's happening with the infection. We are hoping the antibiotics work.

Matthew continues to do well; he's active and gaining weight, and of course we're all keeping a close eye on him.

We had the boys baptized today. Like many things, it was earlier than we planned, but we felt it was the right time.

Thanks to all of you who are keeping us in your thoughts and prayers.

The Swinford Family is keeping the entire Barr Family in our prayers (and asking everyone we know to do the same!). We are hoping to read good news about James very soon and continued good news about Matthew also. Hang in there.

We continue to keep James in our thoughts. Thanks for updating the blog when you have so much to tend to as it is. Blessings to Matthew and James for strength and health.

We are on pins and needles, and hoping for the absolute best for both boys. Sending strength to the parents too.
