We've been looking forward to taking the boys to Storybook Land -- a great park in Aberdeen that has scenes and play areas from all kinds of nursery rhymes and fairy tales. We had wonderful weather for our trip, and the boys had a great time, mostly from climbing on everything possible! ("The other grandchildren didn't do that," Grandma observed as James decided to ride on the little lamb and one of the three kittens.)
James was also fearless on the slides, and especially liked the very long one that was part of Jack and Jill go up the hill. He slid down, climbed back up on the slide, and did it again! They both were excited to go on the merry-go-round and the hot air balloons (not real ones, just a ride), and Mattie liked the little petting zoo (Old MacDonald's farm).
