Feeding Time at the Farm

The baby cows at Joe and Joy's farm are still being bottle-fed, so they invited us over so the boys could see feeding time! (It was one huge bottle!)

The cow are not the neatest eaters in the world, so they left some cow slobber on the fence -- which James called "soap."  Nope, kiddo, rather the opposite!

The adults went inside to visit, and the boys entertained themselves with Aunt Joy's squirrel statues, and with picking up rocks from the driveway, first throwing them and then collecting them. They filled up their pockets as full as possible.  It was hilarious, especially since James had a big low pocket that was drooping with the weight.  :)

(Mattie at one point said, "We are picking up all the rocks so it will be nice and neat for the farmers!"  Good luck with that on a gravel road...)
