Yesterday we went to the Lewiston Art Festival. Somewhat to our surprise, the boys were great and we all had a good time! Matthew immediately wanted to find the area where he could do art instead of just seeing art. I figured that would be the case, so I found the kids' area on the map before we went. :) The project was making fish out of recycled drink bottles. Matthew had a plan for what he wanted his to look like; James just dove in and kept adding elements (and glue, and more glue -- art is a full-contact activity for that kid). They were both happy with the final outcome!
The boys liked looking at the art, but I think they liked the Minion garbage can as well as any of it. (Not to mention the balloon yo-yo.)
