Touch a Truck Niagara

Last Saturday we went up to the town of Niagara for Touch a Truck.  This version was MUCH smaller than the one in Chapel Hill -- only about a block (whereas the Chapel Hill one took up a massive parking lot).  But, it was also much less crowded than the Chapel Hill one (not to mention not as hot), so it seemed like a reasonable tradeoff!  As usual, the biggest attraction for the boys was the bouncy houses, and these didn't even have attendants at them -- so the kids could stay in/on as long as they liked.  (Of course, at one point the obstacle course was pretty full, and it sort of felt like the Lord of the Flies bouncy house -- not that anyone was being mean, but just in general chaos from that many kids flying around.)

It was also much quieter (that is, fewer truck horns honking) than our previous Touch a Truck experiences, which we greatly appreciated!  (Then, of course, some preteen girls decided they needed to repeatedly honk the bus horn, which meant that Mattie and James wanted to do it, too.  Oh well, at least it was a fairly short-lived assault on the eardrums!)

It turned out that the Touch a Truck location was only a couple blocks from Niagara Falls park, so we walked up there.  It was jam-packed -- but we did at least get a nice view of the Falls.  (No nice pictures, though -- I just had my cell phone with me and they didn't turn out well.)

How far is your house from Niagra?
