Day Out in Williamsville

We checked out one of the local parks yesterday (Garrison Park).  It's a small park, but has a lot to do in a compact space!  The big attraction for the boys was the wading pool -- they had a great time running around.  There was also a regular playground and a sandbox, and an older set of playground equipment.  James and Matthew were doing the see-saw, and James kept telling Grandma, "I don't need help!"  (Actually, James, you do if you want to go anywhere -- that's the problem with being lighter than your brother!)

They also had an "imagination station" set up in the gazebo -- a town program where they bring arts and crafts to the parks.  Mattie and James were happy to make bead bracelets.  Mattie was excited to pick out all the orange beads for his.

A stop for frozen yogurt just down the block was a nice finish to the afternoon!
