Wonderland Trains

We went to the Winter Wonderland model train exhibit at the science museum. It was not quite as big as the hype led us to believe it would be, but it was pretty cool -- they had the trains going around replicas of lots of North Carolina landmarks. (I looked at some of the coastal ones and said to Mike, "Doesn't that make you want to go to the beach?" and he said, "No, the mountains!")

The boys especially liked being able to push the buttons to either make the train noises or to make the trains go. The staff had conveniently placed the buttons right at ideal toddler height! James also really liked watching the Santa train go through the tunnel, and they were both quite enthusiastic about Thomas.

Of course, after we saw the model trains, we rode on the real one as well!

Cousin Daniel would be very jealous if he could read better! :)
