After school ended, Mike and the boys took a trip out to Eden (I was still in Singapore). They had a great time with the grandparents and cousins (and some cute puppies, none of which joined the family).
They had an unfortunate travel adventure on the way home -- their flight out of Chicago was delayed and delayed and finally canceled at midnight, so they ended up renting a car and driving all night to get back to Buffalo! (Otherwise, they would have been stuck for two or three days, and the relatives from the other side of the family were on their way to Buffalo for the Fourth of July!)
