All the four year old teams seemed to think alike this year for team names: Mattie and James are on the Green Dragons team. Last week they played the Red Dragons, and this week they played the Yellow Dragons. :)The pregame coaching included great emphasis on which goal they were supposed to be aiming at. (That's the photo where they're all pointing downfield.)
The other team looked a little smaller/younger, but they had a ringer: Number Nine on the yellow team had amazing soccer skills! We were all in awe.
Mattie and James both got a chance to be goalie, and they both made a save. (Mattie may have let one go by when he was not paying attention, but hey, they're only four.) Overall, they did a good job staying with the game, and they seem to enjoy it.
