Fossils

We started off Tuesday at the Penn Dixie Fossil park.  It's an old quarry that has tons of fossils (trilobites and others) right near the surface. Although they gave us little spades to use, it was really more a matter of just looking closely rather than digging. (One part even had very soft rocks that you could break apart with your hands, which was good for feeling very strong!) We got sprinkled on a little bit, but fortunately the thunderstorms never fully arrived, and we had some cool finds!
