At the end of my walking around the financial district, I made it to Merlion Park -- home of the iconic Merlion that's on a lot of the tourist stuff. :) He's pretty cool! (But by that point I was very hot! It was cloudy when I left the apartment, so I didn't think to bring my hat -- a mistake!)And the bottom pictures are from Sentosa (before I went to Japan). Big Brother Merlion is there. Behind him is a path of mosaic sea creatures, which is lovely and shaded.
