Fun Facts

Here are some fun facts about Singapore, compliments of the "Expat Living" magazine that the apartment complex provides. :)

(It mentions common names, and by the way, the students' names are one of the more challenging parts of teaching in Singapore!  They all have about four names, and it is not always clear which is the first and last name, and then some of them go by a nickname instead...matching up the names they write on the assignments with what's in the computer gradebook is sometimes easier said than done!  I'm glad the people in charge of the program warned us to have the students also include their student number when they turn in their work.)
