I'm here in Japan (or as it is known in our house, "where Nomi is from". :) ) The conference is in Fukuoka, and they have us in a beautiful hotel that's right by the water and by the baseball dome (apparently the home team, the Softbank Hawks, are much beloved).
We had an amazing sushi meal last night -- the bottom picture includes our waiter, who I believe was also the owner of the restaurant.
Dessert was a small plate of grapes and cherries -- but they were the biggest and most delicious grapes any of us had ever tasted!
