Daniel's Play

On our way up to NY, we stopped over in Richmond.  We made it in time to see Daniel's performance from his week-long drama camp.  (Although I wasn't sure we were going to make it -- the car didn't want to start after I stopped for gas, and it temporarily died completely after we arrived at Nora's!  Fortunately, after the play, a repair shop near her house fit us in at 4 PM on a Friday and fixed it.)

The play was very cute.  The kids were all characters from Storybook Land.  (Daniel was Old MacDonald.)  His favorite part was the beatboxing!  (The director/teacher did a lot of prompting of lines for many of the kids, but it wasn't bad considering they only had a week to put it together from beginning to end!)

Daniel was also very excited to show us the video of his other recent performance, in Once Upon a Mattress (a show which mostly featured high-school age actors).
