Home of the Wing

So one of Buffalo's claims to fame (besides excessive snowfall) is the invention of Buffalo wings.  We made our obligatory pilgrimage to the birthplace of wings, the Anchor Bar.  It's kind of a tourist hotspot these days, so it was packed even for lunch.  (They have lots of license plates and other memorabilia on the walls to entertain you while you're waiting.)  The wings were pretty good!  (And filling -- we've been eating leftover wings for a couple days.) Mattie really wanted a chicken wing hat, but we weren't going to spend $25 on one!  :)
