And Jamesie got upgraded to purple pants (the next size bigger of the hip huggers). Just in time for LSU's opening game! He doesn't seem to mind them, and he walked all the way across the room holding on to Grandma's hands.

Nicole puts the pants on Curious George when James isn't wearing them. Amusing!

James has been enjoying practicing his throwing skills (and seems to have a pretty good arm, actually.) He also likes turning the light switches on and off. (Mattie likes light switches, too, but mostly just does the "off" part.) And yesterday at dinner he leaned over the side of his high chair and held his spoon down for Stanley to lick off -- which was hilarious, but not exactly what we had in mind when we gave him the spoon!

According to Grandma and Nicole, Mattie said "bathroom" and "Daniel" today (imitating, I assume). He knows what "open" and "close" mean, too, and today he patted his head when you ask him where his head is. Go, Mattie!
