Last night we went to the light show up at the fairgrounds. It was a lot of fun! You drive through two miles of Christmas lights, and then they have a section set up with different activities to do. We took a train ride (sponsored by the Pegulas, owners of the Buffalo Bills and local heroes for buying the team and keeping it in town), played in the Christmas tree forest, and saw Santa! There was a bit of a line, but it was worth it. :)
Santa was a bit surprised when James asked him for a cherry bomb, but we explained that it was a stuffed animal from the Plants vs. Zombies game.
The boys also did the giant bouncy slide, which turned out to be a tube ride. James said it was too scary, but went back for a second time anyhow. :)
We also went in the "human snow globe" (just an inflatable globe, no actual snow), and saw most of a kids' game show. (Mattie really wanted to be picked to play, but no luck. They were selling prizes -- little inflatable toys -- afterwards, though, and we let him and James get ones, so they were happy.)
