James and Matthew were playing with their spaghetti at dinner (trying to find the longest noodle), and James swung his noodle at Mattie. Mattie said, "Now I have to whap James with a noodle!" We informed him that no, he did not, and furthermore, if he did he would not get his Christmas tree nightlight back after dinner. Mattie paused for a moment or two and then said, "But I thought two wrongs make a right!"
(He said it seriously but I'm pretty sure he was joking. We corrected him and then James said, "Two rights make a double-right!")
