It was a beautiful day today (sunny, temps in the mid 70s, lower humidity), so we took the boys out to walk around the trails at the park near our house. They loved it, especially the part where they got to dip their feet in the creek. Mattie even got to walk on his favorite Orange Trail, and James got to go on the Yellow Trail (his current favorite color). We ended up at the playground, and then walked back to the car for the next round of adventures (haircut, frozen yogurt, and another playground).
Mattie sometimes likes to explain the reasons for what he does: "I saw James doing it, so that made me want to do it, too!" (And when they were riding their trikes around tonight, Mattie stopped and announced, "Daddy, I have to tell you something! I don't have a driver's license!" We told him that was okay, he didn't need one for tricycle riding.)
