Aunt Ann passed away last weekend. Even though she was in hospice care, it's still hard to believe that she is gone. (The boys were sad to hear the news, but they handled it okay. Matthew said, "I know everyone has to die sometime, but I wish it didn't have to be now." Us too, sweetie!)
We made a quick trip to West Virginia for the funeral. It was good to see our family and to hear the happy, touching, and funny memories that Ann's friends had of her. She had many people who loved her!
After the services, they had a lunch at the church, and then we went to Hen Lee's. Jake brought out a lot of old photo albums. (Dominic wanted to see all of them, though he didn't want to spend much time on any of the pictures!)
