Back to the Land
Yesterday morning we went out to see Georgia's pastureland. It's out in the middle of nowhere even by Eden standards, so half the battle is finding it! :) They're going to plant some trees out there, for shade in case anyone decides to have cows there.
It's across the road from an abandoned house, so Mike and Matthew and I took a look (but didn't go inside, of course -- no sense risking a fall through a rotted floor!) It's so strange to think that people once lived there, and now it's just decaying away.
Matthew is learning his Eden family names. On the way out there, Mike asked who lived in a particular place, and Matthew piped up, "Sampsons." (Of course, he had no clue, but that was a pretty good guess! That or Steiners...)
James was keeping a close eye on the thermometer -- it bounced around between 41 and 43, mostly. Brrr!
