Food and Friends


 Thanks to Allison, we did not leave Singapore without trying one of the local specialties -- chili crab.  We also tried the black pepper version, which was equally delicious.  (Before trying them, I thought they might be too spicy for me, but they weren't!  They certainly were messy, though!)  And before we went to Bintan, we enjoyed dim sum with my former student and his family.  The boys didn't try the crab, but overall they've been really good about trying new things this trip (and James has discovered a fondness for fried rice).
