As part of his birthday trip, Daniel really wanted to go to Niagara Falls and do the Cave of the Winds walk. It was awesome!!! It takes you up right near the bottom of the falls, and then there's a section called the Hurricane Deck where you get some of the wind and water coming off the falls. It's only a tiny fraction of the full power of the falls, but it's enough to get soaked even with the ponchos! (They also give you sandals to wear.) We all really enjoyed it!
After a picnic lunch, we also rode the Maid of the Mist. (James initially said he didn't want to go because he didn't want to get cold and wet, but then he stood right by the railing the entire time!)
We also saw the IMAX movie, which was mostly about people going over the falls. :)
