Matthew was delighted to find a
big chunk of snow on his walk -- he kept saying "ice! ice!"And when the boys were napping, we visited Mike's cousins who were out ice fishing. They didn't catch anything while we were there, but we got to see them drill some holes and set the flags. The ice was more than a foot thick.
Ice fishing has become more of a high-tech enterprise than it used to be. They now have a little sonar gizmo to show where the fish are!
