James scribbled instead of trying to eat the crayon this time -- we call this an artistic success. :)
When Grandma and Grandpa were leaving, we heard James say (or repeat) "A-Ma" -- getting close to "grandma"!
Today was apparently Mattie's day for body part words: he said eye, ear, mouth, nose, and hand (while he pointed to each one). He also said moon, and "bye bye, water" (when dropping his water off the side of his high chair). His other new word is "woof" for the dog sound. It's funny that it's taken him this long to say that one, since he's been saying "dog" for months.
