Walking the Waves
Last weekend we went out to Mount Faber, one of the higher points of the island, and the start of a series of walking trails. We started down the path and got to the Bell of Happiness, which James delighted in ringing loudly. :) Then they wanted to make a diversion down some stairs into the forest, and then we made it to the Henderson Waves -- a really cool wooden walkway overlooking the city. I say cool, but actually it was very hot in the sun! We were happy to get back to the shade of the trees.
We went down a little path, and it led to an exercise trail. James loved it! They had suggested numbers of each exercise to do (so many pull-ups, etc.), and he took that as a challenge. :)
We were really excited to find a cold-drink vending machine after that, but alas, they were out of almost everything -- we ended up with cranberry juice and chrysanthemum tea, which wasn't too bad. :)
