They are still working with James on using complete sentences in the classroom and on his fine motor skills, but the teacher said his math skills are "off the chart" and his reading is great (although she doesn't know what level he's at because he doesn't want to read for her in the classroom -- she said even though she just asks him to read one on one, he doesn't seem to like having attention drawn to him).
I asked the teachers their opinions about having them in the same class in kindergarten, and both teachers thought it would be a good idea. So, hopefully the school system up in Buffalo will allow that!
