He's on to Us

 It was difficult to get Matthew to sleep tonight.  I told him that we were going to have a lot of fun tomorrow, so he needed to sleep and get his energy so we could have a great day.  He said (whined), "I don't want to play tomorrow!  I don't want to go to the beach tomorrow!"  I said, "That's okay, Mommy and Daddy and Jamesie can go to the beach and you can stay here."  He then said, "I want to go to the beach!"  Then he paused and said, "You tried to trick me!"  A little while later I said, "What you do mean, I tried to trick you?"  "You said I would stay here by myself, you tried to trick me!" 

Oh no, he's figured out the reverse psychology!
