Despite having a short season, the Buckeyes amazingly made it into the playoffs and then the National Championship. And less surprisingly, their opponent was Alabama!  

The Buckeye quarterback got hurt in the playoff game, and then they lost a number of other players to injuries...so Alabama was the winner. James was very happy, although not quite as happy as he would have been if they'd beaten a team he didn't also like!
