Marina and Merlion

My apartment is only about a 15-20 minute walk from the waterfront area, across from Marina Bay Sands (the one that looks like a ship on top of the three towers) and the Merlion statue.  I walked down on Friday evening and they were having a regatta (dragon boat races), and also a "Race Against Time" obstacle course to raise awareness about global warming/environmental issues. James would have loved it! The course included rings, a basketball hoop, and other ninja-type stuff. :)
