Home Field

 Last weekend, our gym hosted a local meet. It was fun to have it on the "home court"!  Our friends Jake and Kelly even came to watch.

They only gave awards for the all-around at this meet (which made the awards ceremony nice and efficient), and James came in third.

The State Championship meet is this coming weekend. James missed practice last week and today from being sick, so not an ideal situation, but I think in his mind it's just like any other meet -- he wants to do well but it's not an especially big deal.
