Braving the Rain

We saw a tiny break in the clouds on the radar, so we drove out to Huntington Beach (in the rain!).  It was off and on raining but not thundering, so we braved the beach anyhow.  It was fun while it lasted!  (It was not as good for shells as advertised, but no big deal.) 

Then the thunder started, so we headed back to the car and got there just before the deluge.  :)  When we got to the seafood restaurant for lunch, we ran through a puddle that was 4-5 inches deep!  Half of us had our towels wrapped around us at the lunch table -- very elegant.  :)
