Mattie went to his first Tar Heel basketball game last night with Daddy. (Daddy says that lots of people smiled at the cute little boy in his Tarheel Blue!)Mattie had a good time, but he was mainly excited about the numbers and letters on the seats, and riding the bus to the Dome. The actual game was pretty much lost on him (though the home team won!)
(After Mike told Matthew they were going, Mattie repeatedly told James, "You can't go, James! They only have two tickets! I'm going to the ball stadium with Daddy!" Fortunately, James didn't really care.)
