Just Because

If James wants you to do something, he'll come over and take your hand and say, "Come on, Mommy!" or "Come on, Daddy!"  He's so cute -- how could we refuse?  :)

Mattie is in the "why why why" stage.  Mike thinks I answer too many why questions for him.  If Mike is tired of it, he'll just say, "X" or "Why not?"  Last night, Mattie asked, "Why?" about something he knew the answer to ("Why are you washing my hair?"), and so I said, "Why do you think?"  He answered, "Just because."  Hee hee! 

(Depending on the question, sometimes I tell him, "It's the laws of physics, Matthew."  It'll be a great day when he repeats that one back!)

P.S.  Grandpa B is continuing to do well with his recovery (although of course those first post-surgery days aren't much fun).  We are thinking of you, Grandpa and Grandma!
