We opened a round of Christmas presents last night, since Uncle Adrian had to leave this morning. Cousin Daniel got a cool train set, and the boys got a garage with ramps that's almost as tall as James. They all had fun playing with the new toys, although poor Daniel was a bit frustrated that Mattie and James's idea of playing with the train set was to pick up pieces of the track and chew on them. (This morning, Daniel instructed James that the track was "not for eating!")We also had a wonderful dinner with family friends (but substituting eggplant parmagiana for our usual Christmas turkey).
