Mattie seems to be largely recovered from his illness; after a bit of a cranky morning yesterday, he's been fine except for some lingering congestion at night. So, since everyone was feeling well and we had a slight break in the heat today (80's instead of 90's)
, we ventured out to find the Carrboro crepe truck. (Thanks to J & Y for telling us about it!)On Saturday mornings, it's in the parking lot of a funky coffee & wine shop. They have a small menu of lunch and dessert crepes. After we ordered, there was about a 20 minute wait for the crepes to be prepared, but that was okay, because we enjoyed hanging out listening to the guitar player. And the crepes were delicious!! (Mine had spinach, carmelized onions, feta cheese, and tomatoes -- and then nutella and bananas for dessert. Yummy!!)
