Happy Mother's Day

 Happy Mother's Day to all the wonderful mothers in our family and beyond!

The boys made a Mother's Day book at school which was very cute.  (They both apparently think my hair is black, and James listed the Walking Dead as my favorite show, which is hilarious because Mike watches it but I won't -- too much violence.)

And we followed our usual tradition of not being able to get things in the mail in a timely fashion, so Grandma and Grandma, you may enjoy a preview of your cards here.  :)  We love you!

Ninja Tournament

 We found out on Saturday that the Kids' Ninja Tournament had been rescheduled for Sunday.  (The pictures were from the Sunday practice and the competition.)  As far as I could tell, Matthew and James were the youngest kids to compete.  They gave it a good try, but didn't make it to Stage 2.

James had made it to the second level of the warped wall in practice, which was awesome.  In the competition, he got a little boost from the coaches to make it all the way to the top.  :)  (Mattie was over there so quickly when it was his turn that the coaches didn't get there in time!)

Beat that Wall!

 James and Matthew both made it to the first level of the warped wall at ninja practice on Saturday morning!  First time for James -- he was thrilled!
