Par-tay Time

 The skies looked a little threatening, but the rain held off, and everyone had a great time at Sethie's party!  In addition to the splashground, there was also an awesome playground, plus pizza, cake, and other assorted goodies (thanks, Auntie Erin!)  The wind was blowing when it was time to blow out candles, so it took about ten matches and a cadre of wind-blocking helpers to get the candles lit in the first place, but Uncle Isaac persevered.  :)

Rainbow Pier

 The clouds were gathering as we checked into the condo this afternoon, and soon afterwards the downpour started.  Not exactly what we had in mind, but then the skies cleared and we had a beautiful rainbow evening!

Swimmingly

The boys had their first swim lesson (well, since they were babies) on Wednesday.  They loved it! The class is for beginners, working on things like floating and going underwater.  And the pool at this place is very warm, which is great.

I was a little concerned because James is basically deaf when he's swimming (no hearing aids plus we used ear plugs to keep water out of his ears), but that didn't seem to be a problem at all for him or the instructor.  Yay!

High Flyer

 Matthew's favorite part of baseball practice is getting to play on the playground afterwards!
