Happy Easter!
Hope you all had a wonderful Easter! We had our friends Kelly and Jake over for dinner, and made use of the leftover Christmas crackers. :) Bad jokes and paper hats for all!
PS: James looks a lot shorter than Matthew in the photo, but some of that is the perspective -- the height difference isn't really so dramatic!

ROC in the USA
Great afternoon in Rochester today! Like last time, the outdoor play area was the boys' favorite, and this time, the Hot Wheels area was a close second. We also ran into one of their kindergarten friends when we were having lunch -- Buffalo is a small world even in Rochester!

More Gville
We arrived back home Tuesday afternoon -- too bad we couldn't stay longer! We made the most of our visit, though. :)
On the way home from camp the other day, James said, "Grandma is so good at math that she's like a calculator! I'm not quite as good yet, so I'm a mini-calculator!"

Garden Festival
Grandma was volunteering at the Garden Festival today, so we all went along. Lucky for us, she was stationed at the kids' arts and crafts area! The boys made sun hats (out of newspaper), butterflies, and bee houses.
We walked by the food vendor section on our way to the kids' area, and Matthew ended up with popcorn and lemonade -- after that, he decided that he loved garden festivals! Later on, James wanted to have shaved ice, which was a great surprise to us since he usually won't touch sweets. But he sat and ate some of it (and enjoyed it), tiny piece by tiny piece.
Other attractions included the climbing tree, running along the paths by the lake, and listening to the drumming group. All in all, a lovely way to spend the morning!
